Storytelling & Crafts: Grandma’s Tiger

Sun 23 june – 2:30pm
CAMPUS 2 ROOM 3-09

Join us for fun-filled art and craft activities bringing stories alive ! Each workshop features a different book and will be accompanied by 15-minutes of story telling by the author. Our art workshops will guide children through colour, form and texture to create a unique keepsake for this immersive story-telling experience. No experience necessary – just a love for stories and a willingness to explore!

Rooooar! Do you hear that? Alan John’s most recent book, Grandma’s Tiger by the Straits Time Press, is a must-read for all animal-enthusiasts. Here at this event, try your hand at creating cute little animal plushies. Some possible animal plushies that can be made include a tiger, tiger beetle, asian mantis or sea star. Made with soft cotton stuffing, colored felt and sparkly sequins, these plushies are not only fun to make, but they are also such exciting playmates. Come decide what animal to befriend and bring home with you.
