The Power of Storytelling

Reading from a picturebook is not enough. Authors need to harness the power of storytelling to engage and enthrall their audience. Get masterclass tips from professional storyteller Kamini Ramachandran of MoonShadow Stories which was founded with the aim of promoting the lost art of the oral narrative tradition.

Kamini Ramachandran

Kamini Ramachandran is a storyteller and creative producer based in Singapore. Through her work in Moonshadow Stories, The Storytelling Centre Ltd and StoryFest Singapore, she continues to advance the art of storytelling. She is a teaching artist working with institutions of higher learning and a mentor for global artists residencies. Known for her site-specific storytelling experiences, her programmes breathe life into cultural and heritage spaces.
