The third edition of the Singapore Children’s Book Festival will take place on 19-21 June 2026 at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
Building on the strong response to our earlier festivals spotlighting Singaporean authors, publishers, and illustrators, the 2026 Festival will feature a wider range of books and local talent.
Creators and publishers with a locally published book, a distinct creative journey, or insights into the children’s book and publishing landscape are invited to submit proposals for book launches and storytelling sessions featuring local children’s books.
Possible areas of focus:
- Engage children and encourage a love of reading
- Balancing education and entertainment in children’s stories
- Storytelling across multiple formats and platforms, including adaptations
- Responding to evolving tastes, trends, technologies, and approaches (locally, regionally, and worldwide)
- Exploring local themes, cultural settings, and identity
- Meet-the-author/inspirations behind stories
