Janice Khoo

Janice Khoo is the co-author of Sing a Song of Hawker Food, a playful collection of nursery rhymes celebrating Singapore’s hawker culture. Co-written with Lianne Ong, the book was supported by the National Heritage Board and won Second Prize in the 2022 POPULAR Reader’s Choice Awards (Children’s English category). In 2024, Janice released two picture books: Shelby and Mona, a heartwarming story of friendship, and The Emperor’s Gazillion New Toys, an eco-themed fractured fairytale co-written with Ong and supported by the SG Eco Fund.
