Join us for a fun and interactive 60-minute art and craft workshop for children aged 5 to 12, where they can explore creativity and self-expression through hands-on art activities and making their own characters.

Arts & Craft Workshop: Fly Your Flag High
Age Group: 5 to 12 years old
Duration: 1-hour art and craft activity
Inspired by The Day I Forgot My Flag by Neil Johnson and Vincent Lee
Have you ever created a symbol for yourself? Inspired by the story The Day I Forgot My Flag, this workshop invites young artists to rediscover what they love most. We believe every child has their own unique identity to express! In this hour, students will design and build a personal flag that truly represents them.
Activity: Children will use clear shapes and a vibrant, bold color palette to design a flag that tells their own story. They will learn to combine graphic simplicity with unexpected bursts of 3D creativity, culminating in dynamic, multi-layered pop-up elements.
Every child will take home a unique, symbolic flag that pops, ready to be waved with pride.

Arts & Craft Workshop: “Pling!”, “Pak!”, and “Bong!”
Age Group: 5 to 12 years old
Duration: 1-hour art and craft activity
Inspired by Pling! Pak! Bong! by Nur-El-Hudaa Jaffar
In this workshop, the sounds Pling!, Pak!, and Bong! aren’t just noises—they are the heart of a narrative. Inspired by the storybook, this session invites children to create a character that makes music.
Activity: Children will spend the hour designing and creating a fun, handheld drum. They will use mixed-media art supplies to decorate their drums, turning them into unique characters and symbols from the story itself.
Every child leaves with a functional art piece that doubles as an instrument.
