Kaoru
Kaoru began her career as a solo comic artist, publishing a variety of romantic stories that quickly gained attention for their ornate, Japanese manga-influenced art style. Her early works not only attracted a loyal readership but also received critical acclaim—Maid Maiden won the Best Romantic Comic Award at the Malaysian Mandarin Comic Society Awards in 2009, and Love Drama won the Best Action/Romantic Comic Award in 2013.
That same year, she transitioned into the role of scriptwriter and team leader, overseeing a dedicated creative team under the name Candy Factory. Since then, she has supervised the development of the bestselling Candy and Prince series, both widely loved by readers for their engaging stories and strong emotional appeal.
