“Curious creatures” is a hands-on workshop where participants will imagine, sculpt, and bring home their very own collectible monster characters. Using clay, participants will experiment with shapes, textures, and forms to create creatures that are playful, strange, and completely out of this world.
Through the tactile process of making, participants will explore how physical forms can express personality, emotions, and stories. Each monster will develop its own unique identity, from special abilities and favourite foods to unusual habits and characteristics. Alongside creating their creatures, participants will also be encouraged to imagine the relationships between the monsters, building an imaginative world where their characters can interact, play, and go on adventures together.
Inspired by collectible toys and imaginative storytelling, the workshop invites participants bring their imagination to live with character design.
